Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, etc. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine.

Platypus

The shy Platypus is found only in eastern Australia, where they live on the edges of rivers and freshwater lakes. During the day, a Platypus often rests, but platypuses (or platypi) are most active for several hours at night. Platypuses are very good in the water as both a diver and swimmer.

The platypus hatches from an egg but it is not a bird. It is a mammal. Do you know that an adult platypus has no teeth?

The Platypus looks like a duck. The body of the platypus is 30 to 45 cm long; the tail measures 10 to 15 cm in length. . The body and tail are covered with a thick, soft, woolly layer of fur, with long, flat hair. A Platypus grows to a maximum weight of 1 to 2.4 kg . The Platypus can live 12 years in the wild.
